Description
Toru Oshikiri is a high school student marked by a dour disposition and intense self-consciousness about his short stature. He resides alone in his wealthy family's large, isolated house while his parents work overseas, deepening his solitude. This isolation fosters supernatural phenomena in his home, manifesting as hallucinations or interdimensional events. Oshikiri reacts fearfully to these terrors but suppresses his emotions, such as when discovering a petrified body concealed within a wall.

His encounters escalate upon finding unexplained footsteps, prompting an investigation with classmates. They witness an alternate version of Oshikiri burying a corpse—later identified as parallel-world counterparts of classmates Kamiyama, Watanabe, and Koizumi. The situation intensifies when Oshikiri encounters a panicked classmate, Mio Fuji, fleeing through his house. She reappears unharmed the next day, leading him to suspect the distressed Mio originated from a parallel dimension. When Mio later vanishes after insisting on entering his house, she returns mutated into a monstrous blob, accuses Oshikiri, and dissolves into slime. This incident reveals the parallel dimension is plagued by carnage orchestrated by an alternate Oshikiri.

The alternate Oshikiri, declaring himself the "real" Toru Oshikiri, traverses dimensions to murder victims and conduct chemical experiments—driven by a severe Napoleon complex to perfect a height-increasing formula. His experiments cause horrific mutations, and he discards evidence by dumping victims into the original Oshikiri's dimension. During a confrontation, the alternate attempts to inject the original but is accidentally injected himself. His body contorts violently as bones and muscles elongate grotesquely before he dissolves into slime, warning of infinite dimensions harboring more vicious Oshikiri variants.

After escaping the alternate dimension with Mio, the original Oshikiri becomes lost in an endless labyrinth of dimensional layers within his house, each potentially inhabited by hostile Oshikiri versions, leaving his fate unresolved.
