Description
Kazuhiko Satō is a sixteen-year-old first-year student in Class A at Suginami Second High School. Academically and athletically average, he compensates with an exceptionally friendly and approachable personality that makes him widely popular among classmates. His sociable nature demonstrates high adaptability and a consistent willingness to prioritize others' needs, occasionally to his own detriment. Classmates affectionately call him "Ippiko" due to the difficulty in pronouncing his full name.
Later, he covertly obtains a special ability called "Explosion Rights," which becomes central to confronting the primary antagonist, the Emperor. In a pivotal story moment, Ippiko uses this ability to trigger a catastrophic explosion at a power plant, deliberately positioning himself at ground zero for maximum impact. This act results in his apparent death—a calculated self-sacrifice to advance the group’s goal of defeating the Emperor.
Subsequent events reveal his survival, enabled by another ability called "Stop Rights." His return significantly impacts later story arcs, positioning him as a key ally against a new antagonist known as the Queen. His strategies and actions post-revival contribute substantially to resolving the overarching conflict.
Outside the main narrative, Ippiko appears in supplemental 8-panel comic strips, primarily serving a comedic role. These lighthearted scenarios feature him in gag-oriented content, often occupying the third panel.
