Description
Mimirin Midorihara is an anthropomorphic snowshoe hare with distinctive black ear tips and a tuft of hair on her forehead. She features pink inner ears, a pink nose, and a visible buck tooth. A pink ribbon next to her left ear, a cherished gift from childhood friend Ramurin Makiba before Ramurin left Challenge Island for France, serves as a keepsake; after this departure, Mimirin became the only main character without siblings.

Her attire evolved throughout the series. Initially, she wore a yellow puffy-sleeved shirt under a red overall dress with light red shoes, white socks, and occasionally a tan hat with a red band. During the Hakken era, her outfit changed to a pink long-sleeved top featuring a yellow collar and gold button, a cyan skirt, light red shoes, and pale pink socks; her summer variant included a light yellow blouse and shorter cyan skirt. In the Wow! era, her primary outfit became a grey polka-dotted dress layered under a pink cardigan, with a grey waist belt, pink Mary Jane shoes, and long blue socks. Her Wow! summer version featured a pink sleeveless dress with a beaded lighter ribbon, light grey shorts, and shorter white socks, occasionally accessorized with the tan sunhat bearing a pink band.

Mimirin possesses a gentle yet naive personality. She is lively but exhibits traits of being spoiled, clumsy, and prone to crying, often tearing up when others disregard her opinions. Despite this, she demonstrates diligence facing challenges and maintains a brave attitude towards those treating her kindly. Her interests center on traditionally girly pursuits: she adores dolls, flowers, and strawberry shortcake, her favorite food. She excels in racing, holding the title of fastest runner among the main characters. Paradoxically, despite being a rabbit, she dislikes carrots, rationalized in-universe by the potential harm of excessive consumption to rabbits. She harbors fears of snakes, caterpillars, and various insects.

Her background centers on her family's flower shop, Flower Shop Midorihara, operated by her parents. Her father, Sota Midorihara, works as the florist, while her mother, Renge Midorihara, assists with sales and plant care. Reflecting this environment, Mimirin has expressed career interests in nursing and floristry. Her name carries meaning: "Midorihara" combines "green" (緑, midori) and "fields" (原, hara), while "Mimirin" incorporates "ears" (耳, mimi) and "dignified" (凛, rin), referencing her prominent rabbit ears.

Mimirin maintains close friendships with several characters. Shimajiro Shimano was a key friend who supported her during their initial shy introduction. Her bond with childhood friend Ramurin was particularly profound until Ramurin's departure. Other friendships include Torippii Sorano, Nyakkii Momoyama, Marurin Sasaki, Kikko Hayashida, and Sakurako Koinuma. She occasionally refers to herself in the third person in the Japanese version and uses the verbal tic "-nya" at sentence endings when speaking to close acquaintances. A notable incident involved her attempting to use her mother's makeup, resulting in a cosmetic mishap.
