Makoto, the younger sister of a fallen soldier who once fought alongside Fuusuke, Aicho, and Touji, inherits a knife left by her brother—a memento the trio seeks to deliver to her in a coastal settlement besieged by pirate raids. The port town suffers under Rasen Ryuu, a warlord abducting men to build his fortress while hunting women. To evade capture, Makoto adopts a male disguise, chafing at the villagers’ refusal to fight back.

When pirates seize her during an attack, her capture forces the trio to confront Rasen Ryuu directly. Though untrained in battle, Makoto’s fierce resolve to defend her home and honor her brother’s memory drives her actions. The clash exposes Rasen Ryuu’s past betrayal of their Ninku allies, linking Makoto’s struggle to the war’s lingering scars and unresolved loyalties.
