Description
Cariot holds the rank of clergyman in the Vatican's covert Anti-Creed of Fatima, positioned above the exorcist Clarus Tonitrus. His duties encompass not only mission command but also the meticulous management of Clarus's daily life and close supervision, a necessity arising from her fragile mental state after her former partner's incapacitation.

A capable combatant within the Church Militant despite possessing no supernatural powers, Cariot demonstrates significant fighting proficiency. His limited grasp of Japanese customs leads to an embarrassing incident: mistaking a love motel for a standard hotel, he books accommodation. Upon realizing the establishment's true nature, profound social embarrassment compels him to kneel in prayer seeking forgiveness.

Visually, Cariot presents as a long-haired pretty boy lacking overt androgyny. He typically maintains a stoic demeanor, though less severe than Clarus's emotional reserve. His character design and narrative function draw direct parallels to Hikitsu from *Fushigi Yuugi*, sharing both visual traits and voice actor.
