Shizuka attends Tobita Junior High School as a friend of Mami Sakura, commonly called "Sacchan" by peers. She maintains the calmest demeanor within Mami's social circle. Shizuka is romantically involved with classmate Satoru Takenaga, a participant in Takahata's baseball group.
