Jini is an anime-original character residing in Hakum Village, a community where chosen children train as Riders to bond with creatures called Monsties. One year older than protagonist Lute, he serves as an experienced Rider assisting Dan, the village instructor. Jini is the older brother of Hyoro, a timid Rider trainee in Lute's class. His bonded Monstie is a Yian Kut-Ku. Alongside fellow senior Riders Stone and Nole, Jini participates in village activities such as teambuilding exercises and defense against external monster threats. His responsibilities include guiding the development of younger Riders: Lute, Cheval, and his brother Hyoro.
