Description
Gueira is a leading general in the radical Burnish faction Mad Burnish, partnered closely with Meis since before Lio Fotia joined. He presents as a tall, slender young man with messy red hair, red eyes, and a light tan, bearing a "雷刃" (Lightning Blade) tattoo near his left shoulder. His typical outfit includes a light blue shirt beneath a black leather jacket, black pants with knee pads held by a white studded belt, and black boots. Activating his Burnish powers transforms him into a larger, muscular, monstrous armored form featuring a large chest, red and pink segments, green-tinged helmet teeth, and two horns signifying his power level.
His personality is fiery, impulsive, and outwardly emotional, often expressing his opinions and feelings loudly, sometimes landing him in trouble. Despite this, he shows deep care for fellow Burnish, evident when he and Meis rescued Thyma after she manifested pyrokinetic abilities during their raid on a Foresight Pharmaceutical facility. He harbors intense distrust towards authorities like the Foresight Foundation and Freeze Force, believing they mistreat Burnish, motivating his attacks and rescue missions. Gueira possesses a self-sacrificial streak, willing to endanger himself for Lio's sake, and consistently refers to Lio as "boss," reflecting absolute loyalty.
Before Lio's leadership, Gueira and Meis jointly led Mad Burnish, conducting raids like setting fire to the Foresight building where they encountered the newly manifested Thyma. Recognizing her vulnerability, they extracted her before Burning Rescue arrived, taking her to a safe refuge with other Burnish. They tried to calm Thyma's fears by sharing their own experiences and offering her a place in Mad Burnish. When Freeze Force attacked the refuge, Gueira and Meis attempted to distract the enforcers to allow escape, nearly getting captured themselves.
Lio Fotia intervened, rescuing Gueira, Meis, and other Mad Burnish members. Gueira questioned Lio's refusal to kill their pursuers; Lio argued killing would increase prejudice against Burnish and proposed isolation instead. Convinced by Lio's perspective and respecting his strength and ideals, Gueira and Meis accepted Lio as their new leader, transferring command of Mad Burnish to him.
As Lio's generals, Gueira and Meis became steadfast subordinates. They participated in a plan where they, alongside Lio, allowed capture by Freeze Force to infiltrate a facility and rescue imprisoned Burnish. Confronted by Burning Rescue, particularly Galo Thymos, they were eventually restrained with block handcuffs suppressing Burnish abilities. Incarcerated, Gueira expressed frustration over Lio's treatment, triggering the cuffs to freeze him. Inside the prison, he and Meis directed Lio's attention to the injured Thyma.
After Lio broke out, he freed Gueira and Meis. The duo then actively assisted Lio in freeing other prisoners during the mass escape. Later, tracked to an abandoned complex near a volcano, an elder Burnish revealed himself as a traitor, facilitating an attack that partially paralyzed Lio. To ensure Lio's escape into Fennel Volcano, Gueira and Meis sacrificed themselves, holding off Vulcan and Freeze Force against overwhelming odds.
Gueira and Meis were captured and used as part of the fuel source powering the Parnassus project. They remained captive until the climax, where they and other Burnish assisted Lio and Galo in saving the world. They survived these events.
