Description
Flying Officer Eila Ilmatar Juutilainen serves as a distinguished member of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing, originating from Suomus. She previously flew with the Suomus Air Force's elite 24th Squadron at Immola and Berechire bases, achieving recognition as Suomus's highest-scoring ace and earning the Mannerheim Cross, the nation's top military honor. Her transfer to the 501st stemmed from an agreement exchanging Suomus's top ace for international aid during the Neuroi conflict.

Eila wields the magical ability "Foresight," predicting near-future enemy movements and incoming fire. This detection-system power shapes her evasive combat style, earning her the moniker "Eila the Evasive" in contrast to marksmen like Hanna Wind. Though concerns arose that her evasiveness might compromise teamwork or shield usage, she demonstrates strong protective instincts toward comrades like Sanya Litvyak. Her personality merges mischievousness with reliability: she enjoys pranks and tarot card fortune-telling (despite inconsistent accuracy), yet remains composed and energetic under pressure. She employs sharp observational skills to analyze psychological cues, outmaneuvering opponents and guiding allies.

Her closest bond is with Sanya Litvyak, whom she met after joining the 501st. Eila assisted Sanya in procuring Striker Unit parts, developing deep attachment and adopting a protective, nurturing role. Their relationship thrives on mutual trust, with Sanya showing unwavering devotion. Following the 501st's disbandment after Gallia's liberation, Eila and Sanya relocated to Kauhava Base under the 507th Joint Fighter Wing. During Operation Victory Arrow, they attempted a trip to Orussia to find Sanya's parents, though frontline blockades hindered progress. Eila maintains connections with witches from units like the 502nd and 507th JFW, visiting former comrades when possible.

Eila operated several Striker Units:
- The Brewster F2A Buffalo (No. BW-364), flown during her Mannerheim Cross achievement with the 24th Squadron.
- The Messerscharf Bf109G-2 (No. MT-212), her initial unit in the 501st, later repainted with the "Ace of Diamonds" insignia.
- The Messerscharf Bf109K-4 (yellow No. 2), a personal unit provided upon her return to Suomus.

Post-501st, Eila and Sanya undertook missions aligned with Eila’s divination insights, including aiding allies in Romagna. Eila draws inspiration from historical Finnish ace Eino Ilmari Juutilainen, reflected in her nickname "Illu" and her mythological middle name Ilmatar (from the Finnish air goddess in the Kalevala). Her familiar, a stylized "black fox" referencing silver fox pigmentation, complements her playful, cunning traits.
