Description
Daisuke Higashida, a 15-year-old Higashizaka High School freshman standing 172 cm tall with black hair and yellow-hazel eyes, lives with his father Kousaku, mother Sachiko, and younger sister Sakiko. Forced into a part-time job at Wagnaria family restaurant due to his father's bankruptcy and the family's carefree attitude toward their financial crisis, Daisuke covers his personal expenses—school commuting costs and phone bills—to avoid a grueling 15-kilometer bicycle commute.
Initially reluctant about work for fear of impacting his studies, Daisuke possesses a serious, easily annoyed personality starkly contrasting his family's lightheartedness.
