Description
Bazett Fraga McRemitz serves as a Sealing Designation Enforcer for the Mage's Association, specializing in direct combat. Initially dispatched to retrieve Class Cards in Fuyuki City, she secured the Archer and Lancer cards before Zelretch removed her from the mission, reassigning it to Rin Tohsaka and Luviagelita Edelfelt. Internal power struggles later prompted her return to reclaim all seven Class Cards.

She exhibits intense mission dedication, showing minimal concern for matters beyond her objectives. This single-mindedness drives her to fight opponents regardless of age or affiliation, though she voices disapproval when children unconnected to magical conflicts are involved. Despite her combat focus, she accepts menial jobs like working in maid cafes or selling ice pops to fund operations, demonstrating adaptability in financial hardship. She has slept outdoors under cardboard, citing Japan’s mild climate and abundant resources as sufficient for survival.

Arriving in Fuyuki after the Kuro incident, she targeted Luviagelita Edelfelt’s mansion, defeating Luvia and her butler Auguste before confronting Rin Tohsaka. During this clash, Rin placed a curse linking Bazett’s life to Illya’s. Bazett confiscated four Class Cards stored at the mansion and overwhelmed Illyasviel von Einzbern and Kuro in combat, destroying projected Noble Phantasms and deflecting magecraft with her fists. She collected Illya’s Lancer Card and defeated Miyu Edelfelt by nullifying her Rider-installed Bellerophon attack with her Noble Phantasm Fragarach—reversing causality to strike an opponent’s heart before their ultimate technique activates.

The curse linking her to Illya temporarily limited her lethality, but she continued inflicting non-fatal injuries. Rin brokered a truce by revealing an eighth Class Card’s existence, prompting Bazett to return three cards for its location. Financial repercussions followed when Luvia billed her for mansion damages, forcing her into temporary employment.

Confronting the eighth Class Card (Archer-class Gilgamesh), she entered the Mirror World alone. Initially overwhelmed by Gate of Babylon, her tenacity and Rune of Resurrection allowed survival through multiple fatal wounds, enabling her to temporarily extract the card. After Gilgamesh escaped into the real world, she accompanied Illya’s group observing their search for a non-Einzbern Holy Grail. A dimensional rift transported her alongside others to a parallel world post-battle.

Her combat abilities include exceptional physical strength to uproot terrain and destroy defensive barriers. Rune-inscribed gloves provide toughness exceeding tungsten steel, augmenting her strikes. She wields a Noble Phantasm-grade Rune of Resurrection that instantly heals fatal injuries, including heart destruction. Fragarach remains her ultimate technique, activated against an opponent’s strongest attack to negate it while striking preemptively. The Death Agony Slavery curse from Rin was later removed by Caren Hortensia, who noted its relative weakness.
