Description
Kumin Tsuyuri begins the series as a 16-year-old high school student, turning 17 in the second season and 18 in the movie *Take On Me*. Due to her father's work, she lived overseas after kindergarten and was homeschooled until high school. This sheltered background fostered old-fashioned ladylike ethics and an innocent, naïve personality. Physically, she stands 154-155 cm tall with short dark brown or black hair, dark pink or aubergine eyes, fair skin, and a distinctive small mole on her right breast.

Her defining passion is napping, which she considers her primary hobby. She carries specialized pillows for different weather and seasons, often sleeping in unusual locations like school grounds in a full futon, leading to frequent sleep-talking. Before high school, she attempted to start a dedicated "Nap Club" but failed due to lack of interest. She later incorporates napping as an official activity into the Far Eastern Magic Napping Society of Summer club formed by Rikka Takanashi.

Kumin exhibits a carefree, friendly, and airheaded personality, blending easily with others despite her quirks. She shows curiosity about unconventional things, such as frequently touching Makoto Isshiki's shaved head. Though not delusional, she actively supports and engages with the chuunibyou behaviors of Rikka and Sanae Dekomori, finding their fantasies fascinating. She also enjoys watching horror and action scenes. In Season 2, she attempts to emulate Shinka Nibutani's humor by telling puns, though these often fall flat.

She plays key roles in several plot points: temporarily assuming Rikka's "Tyrant's Eye" persona in Season 1 after Rikka abandons her powers, privately advising Yuuta Togashi about his role in Rikka's chuunibyou origins. In *Take On Me*, she suggests Yuuta and Rikka elope to prevent Rikka's sister from taking her to Italy. Later, she travels with Satone Shichimiya to Aomori to support Rikka during a personal conflict, emphasizing the need for Yuuta and Rikka to resolve their issues independently.

Her overprotective upbringing influences her demeanor. She lives with her family and owns a cat named Dodomen, who briefly goes missing. In lighter moments, such as the Lite episodes, she observes club dynamics while napping and participates in group activities like games, showcasing her relaxed integration into the group.
