Description
Chiya Ujimatsu, a high school student and classmate of Cocoa Hoto, dedicates her time to her family’s Japanese sweets café, Ama Usa An, renowned for its rabbit mascot, Anko. Though her family’s café once rivaled Rabbit House, Chiya remains indifferent to the competition, prioritizing a cheerful, easygoing attitude. Her enduring childhood bond with Syaro Kirima fuels her hopes of future collaboration, despite Syaro’s hesitance.

Gentle and calming, Chiya navigates interactions with playful nonchalance, occasionally revealing a mischievous streak. She whimsically assigns poetic titles to ordinary snacks and harbors a curious fondness for eerie tales. Beneath her poised, ladylike facade lies an unconventional ambition: to become a samurai.

Chiya’s appearance reflects tradition and grace—long dark brown hair adorned with a floral accessory and ribbon, green eyes, and pale skin. While working, she dons a dark green striped kimono layered with a white frilly apron. Despite her calm exterior, she tires quickly due to low stamina, though her sharp reflexes allow her to deftly evade thrown objects.

Residing in a quaint European-inspired town, she balances academics with café duties. Her name, inspired by “Uji matcha,” nods to her family’s tea heritage, while her 157-cm stature complements her understated presence. Within her friend circle, Chiya subtly mediates conflicts, harmonizing group dynamics while nurturing her distinctive hobbies and quiet determination.
