Description
Chisaki Miyazaki, a popular and strikingly beautiful high school classmate of Kogarashi Fuyuzora, initially navigates the supernatural world through written exchanges with the ghost Yuuna, unable to perceive spirits herself. Her life shifts when haunted stuffed animals drive her to enlist Kogarashi’s exorcism skills, unwittingly triggering a possession by the tanuki Koyuzu Shigaraki. The encounter awakens Chisaki’s ability to see spirits and reveals Koyuzu’s benign motives, culminating in the tanuki’s integration into Yuragi Inn’s eclectic community.
Her bond with Kogarashi sparks from a classroom incident where Yuuna mischievously lifts her skirt, creating initial tension. Gradually, his steadfast kindness and reliability stir romantic feelings in Chisaki, amplified by a prophetic dream envisioning their future as a couple. This fuels her affectionate nickname “Ko-kun,” mirroring her growing emotional ties. Though outwardly poised, she privately nurtures a whimsical streak, often losing herself in vivid daydreams.
Chisaki’s compassionate nature emerges when she forgives Koyuzu for the haunting, demonstrating her capacity to trust despite early discord. As she intertwines with Yuragi Inn’s human and supernatural residents, her journey evolves from a routine school existence to navigating blossoming affections and spectral intrigues. Her arc balances academic normalcy with the inn’s enigmatic world, charting her transformation from a conventional peer to an active participant in its mystical tapestry.
