Description
Kazunari Miyoshi is a member of the Summer Troupe of the Mankai Company, a theater group. He was originally hired for his skills as a graphic designer to create the company's website and promotional flyers. It was during this time that the company's director saw potential in him as an actor and invited him to audition, leading to his dual role as both a performer and the creator of the troupe's visual materials.
Born on August 1st, Kazunari is a university student attending Veludo Arts University, where he majors in Japanese painting. He stands at 176cm tall and has green eyes, though his most distinctive physical trait is his bleached blonde hair, which is longer at the back and reaches his shoulders, as his natural hair color is black. His fashion sense is trendy and bold, often seen wearing a white sweatshirt emblazoned with Three Three Three, a blue jacket, ripped black skinny jeans, and accessories like a black fedora hat, earrings, and layered necklaces.
On the surface, Kazunari appears as a frivolous and charismatic young man with exceptional communication skills. He is outgoing, energetic, and believes that anyone he makes eye contact with can instantly become a friend, treating everyone he meets with the same open and cheerful attitude. He is known for giving unique and affectionate nicknames to all his fellow troupe members, a habit that reinforces his role as a social butterfly and mood maker within the company. However, this vibrant exterior is a carefully constructed facade. In his past, Kazunari was a studious loner who felt lonely and had few friends. To escape these feelings, he deliberately transformed himself, changing his appearance and personality to become popular and relatable. He consciously chooses his words to please others, prioritizing being liked over forming genuine connections, which often results in friendships that remain shallow. Beneath his fashionable and flirtatious persona lies a sensitive and kind individual who is acutely aware of the atmosphere around him, sometimes to a fault.
Kazunari comes from a family with creative and professional backgrounds; his father is a project planner for an advertising agency, and his mother is a piano instructor. He shares a history with Tsuzuru Minagi, being his senior from the same high school, and it was Tsuzuru who introduced him to the Mankai Company when they needed design work. Within the dorms, he is roommates with Muku Sakisaka, with whom he shares a very friendly and chummy bond. He shares a significant relationship with Tenma Sumeragi, as Kazunari is noted to be the first real friend Tenma ever had. While Yuki Rurikawa finds Kazunari somewhat noisy, there is mutual respect for each other's artistic and design abilities. His relationships with his fellow Summer Troupe members, like the bubbly Misumi Ikaruga and the energetic Kumon Hyodo, are lively and supportive, with Kazunari often acting like a cool older brother figure.
Throughout the story, Kazunari's journey focuses on his development from a person seeking validation through superficial popularity to someone who desires and works towards more authentic bonds. Joining the Summer Troupe and becoming more involved in the theater gives him the opportunity to move beyond his carefully managed social image and contribute genuinely as both an artist and a friend. His role in the company extends beyond acting; his notable abilities in graphic design and illustration are crucial for creating posters and managing the company's online presence on social media, helping to modernize its image and attract new fans. His hobbies include scuba diving and frequently updating his social media accounts, and he has a known fondness for candy while disliking sticky or slimy foods.
