Tomoru Akazawa is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on March 14, 1990, in Tokyo, Japan. He is affiliated with the talent agency ENA Entertainment. Before entering the entertainment industry, he had aspirations of becoming a hairdresser, a career path inspired by his cousin, and attended vocational training in high school. He ultimately changed his focus after his cousin, who was acquainted with the president of his current agency, facilitated an introduction that led to his career in acting.

Akazawa is best known for his long-standing association with the character Kazunari Miyoshi from the A3! franchise. His involvement began in 2018 when he was cast as the stage actor for Miyoshi in the MANKAI STAGE productions of A3!. On December 25, 2020, following the dismissal of the character's original voice actor, Akazawa was appointed as the new voice for Kazunari Miyoshi in the A3! smartphone game and anime. This transition made him the sole performer in the franchise to portray the same character in both the stage plays and the animated adaptations. His voice work for the character also extends to music, such as the character song Be Greedy Diver! on the A3! Sunny Summer EP.

Beyond his defining role in A3!, Akazawa has an extensive career in stage acting. His stage credits include performances in adaptations of various manga and game franchises, such as Dansei! where he played the role of Harumi Koganei, Nanbaka as Jūgo, Children of the Whales as Chakuro, the musical adaptation of Hakuōki as Sōji Okita, and the Tokyo Revengers stage plays, in which he starred. He has also appeared in stage productions of Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! and Mobile Suit Gundam 00. His voice acting credits outside of A3! include roles in the anime adaptation of The Thousand Musketeers and the game Mitsuro Canvas.
