Description
Makina Mikage is a twenty-five-year-old freelance journalist who rides a Yamaha MT-07. She stands 160 centimeters tall and weighs 54 kilograms, with blood type O. She has traced rumors surrounding the Hyuga Corporation’s secret Marishi Machina project, a powered suit that uses artificial muscle fibers and electronic interfaces to enhance physical abilities. Makina suspects that the mysterious group of black-suited riders who appear on Route 246 at night are connected to this project, and she is determined to uncover the truth behind both the suits and the riders.

Makina’s personality is marked by a carefree attitude; she does not worry much and tends to react quickly to situations, with her mood changing faster than most. She is described as slightly tsundere, which means she can come across as prickly or dismissive on the surface while occasionally showing a warmer side underneath. Her curiosity and persistence drive her to investigate, and she is not easily deterred by the secrecy surrounding the Hyuga Corporation.

In the story, Makina acts as a catalyst who pulls the protagonist Dan into the investigation of the Marishi Machina project and the black-suited riders. Her role is that of an information gatherer and pursuer, following leads and uncovering clues that advance the plot. Her key relationship is with Dan, whom she involves in the mystery, and through this interaction she helps him discover more about his own past. Over the course of the narrative, particularly in the epilogue set one year after the events of Season 3, Makina continues to pursue the truth, though detailed information about her personal development or specific abilities beyond her journalistic skills and riding proficiency is limited. Her notable abilities include tenacity in research, motorcycle handling, and a sharp intuition for sniffing out hidden information.
