Description
Dan Amo, a 27-year-old salaryman, works in the General Affairs department of Tokyo's prominent Hyuga Corporation, known for artificial muscle fiber technology. By day, he maintains an unassuming office presence. After hours, he transforms into the exceptionally skilled motorcyclist "Zebra," recognized on Tokyo's Route 246 for his distinctive zebra-striped backpack. He stands 175 cm tall, weighs 68 kg, and has blood type B. His hobbies include playing the piano and creating computer graphics. Raised by his aunt Sanae after losing his parents, he lives with her at Aoyama's Genesis Café, where he frequently undertakes nighttime delivery runs on his Yamaha MT-09 Street Rally or MT-09 Tracer.

His life becomes entwined with freelance journalist Makina Mikage and Kotaro Hyuga, heir to the Hyuga Corporation presidency, through encounters involving mysterious riders and corporate secrets. Dan grapples with childhood trauma from an incident that claimed his parents' lives, an event linked to the Hyuga Corporation's development of the "Marishi Machina" powered suit using artificial muscle fibers and neural interfaces. He initially avoids confronting this past but is urged by Makina to seek the truth.

A year after resolving conflicts at the Hyuga Corporation's Mt. Fuji testing facility, Dan planned a solo touring trip. Before this, Chairman Mitsukuni Hyuga revealed that Dan's mother might still be alive, preserved in cold-sleep within the facility. Alongside Makina—who sought information about her own missing father—Dan returned to Mt. Fuji. Mitsukuni proposed restarting a suspended test of the Marishi Machina, suggesting it could revive Dan's mother and reveal Makina's father's fate. Despite risks, Dan agreed to participate, driven by the hope of freeing his mother and resolving his trauma.

During this period, Dan demonstrated protective instincts, rescuing Makina when the Marishi Machina suit hijacked her consciousness and forced her onto the Shutoko expressway on an MT-07. Using his riding prowess, he intercepted her and averted disaster. These actions, alongside his willingness to confront Mitsukuni and participate in the suit test, marked significant development from his earlier avoidance of his past. His relationships with Makina and Kotaro evolved through these shared trials, solidifying bonds forged through mutual challenges and unresolved familial legacies.
