Description
Tenshi is a childlike angel assigned to guard Earth from demonic threats, his reckless devotion to duty marked by destructive collateral damage and unintended harm to humans. His appearance blends celestial and combat-ready elements: angelic wings, a belt, pants, boots, and gloves reminiscent of Innocent Buu’s design, paired with sunglasses worn as a disguise after Earth authorities brand him a wanted criminal.

Convinced his nemesis had perished, Tenshi renews violent campaigns against the demon upon learning of its survival. His aggressive tactics spiral into chaos—a misplaced missile strike hits a school bus, tank assaults level entire towns—earning him repeated arrests. Each imprisonment hardens his resolve, fueling more extreme measures to annihilate his foe.

When solo efforts fail, Tenshi enlists assassins like Michel Yamada and Master Yakimo Hedel, bankrolling expensive contracts to achieve his goal. Discovering the demon’s weakness to immodest women, he deploys a stripper to exploit this vulnerability, but the scheme unravels due to unexpected setbacks. Intensive physical training to bolster his strength also proves futile, as direct clashes with the demon continue to end in defeat.

Expanded duties later assign Tenshi to supervise Earth’s Hell, where he monitors imprisoned tyrants like Mecha Frieza to thwart escape attempts. Armed with a bow and arrow, he enforces this vigil with zealous precision, reflecting his uncompromising approach to justice.

Cross-media stories explore his rivalry through varied contexts. Tournament spin-offs pit them against each other in card-based battles designed to minimize real-world destruction. Subsequent video game narratives force temporary alliances against shared enemies, including rogue angels and mechanized armies, revealing a pragmatic adaptability beneath their enduring hostility.

His capabilities include natural flight via wings and an unimplemented finishing move dubbed the Super Angel Punch. Armaments span firearms, explosives, and military vehicles, though their reckless deployment often escalates civilian casualties. Grenades, rocket launchers, and other heavy weaponry underscore a tendency toward disproportionate force, starkly contrasting his intended role as a protector.
