Description
Prunce hails from the Starry Sky Galaxy, where he faithfully served the Star Princesses in the Star Palace before the Notraiders attacked. As a loyal guard, he was entrusted with safeguarding Fuwa, a fairy crafted by the princesses as their "last hope." Fleeing the Notraiders' invasion, Prunce escaped with Fuwa by clinging to a passing truck, crash-landing on Earth alongside the alien Lala.
Physically, he appears as a small light-blue octopoid alien bearing two antennae tipped with yellow stars, primarily traveling via a UFO-like saucer. His distinctive speech often ends with phrases like "~de purunsu" or "~de purunstar." Personality-wise, Prunce displays caution and initial wariness toward unfamiliar Earth elements like dogs or ordinary items such as donuts. He gradually adapts, forming strong emotional bonds and demonstrating loyalty to those he cares about, alongside a tendency for dramatic reactions.
Key relationships shape his journey. He acts as a fiercely protective brother figure to Fuwa, experiencing profound devastation at her sacrifice. He shares a close companionship with Lala, frequently perching on her shoulder or head. His admiration for space idol Mao turns to disappointment upon uncovering her secret identity as phantom thief Blue Cat, though he later reconciles and befriends her true self, Yuni. He develops romantic feelings for Yanyan, a hermit crab alien, often flustered by her attention and motivated to impress her.
Prunce's abilities center on elasticity, enabling him to shapeshift, inflate, or alter his form—even temporarily transforming into a handsome human—proving useful for reconnaissance and problem-solving.
During the events of *Miracle Universe*, Prunce accompanies the Star Twinkle Pretty Cure team, transported with them to the Miracle Light factory planet. He witnesses the dark cloud crisis and interacts with other Pretty Cure teams during their multiversal adventure, maintaining a supportive role.
In his series' concluding arc, Prunce allies with the Cures and redeemed Notraiders against Ophiuchus. He vehemently rejects the truth about Fuwa's origins and is heartbroken by her sacrifice. Following Ophiuchus's defeat, he becomes the primary caretaker for the reborn Fuwa. Fifteen years later, he resides with Fuwa, his parents, and Yanyan, surprised as Fuwa gradually regains her powers.
