Description
Azusa Miura holds the position of iDOL Team Chief in Mondenkind's Idolmaster Division, managing daily operations, theoretical instruction, and practical training for Idolmasters. She exhibits a calm, serious, and diligent demeanor, differing from more lighthearted portrayals in other media. Team members respect her as an older sister figure, particularly Makoto Kikuchi, with whom she shares a residence. Their relationship is sisterly, though Azusa sees herself in a supportive rather than disciplinary role toward Makoto.

Her childhood involved significant experimentation: Azusa and her sister Chihaya were brought to Mondenkind for procedures attempting to create human-iDOL hybrids. These halted their physical aging, leaving Azusa with the appearance of a 20-year-old despite her chronological age of 51. The experiments were largely deemed failures. During the "Dawn of the Purple Moon" incident, Chihaya defected from Mondenkind while Azusa remained, pursuing a career as an active Idolmaster pilot. That career ended abruptly due to an accident rendering her unable to operate an iDOL, leading Makoto to assume her position as pilot of the iDOL Nebula.

After the accident, Azusa transitioned to her managerial role, demonstrating strong leadership and combat proficiency. Her physical capabilities exceed ordinary human limits, likely a consequence of the experiments, though the exact source remains unspecified. She possesses extensive strategic knowledge about rival organization Triavita, sharing this exclusively with Joseph Shingetsu, Mondenkind’s leader, who grants her complete trust due to their long history.

Her connection to Chihaya persists despite Chihaya’s affiliation with Triavita. Azusa exhibits protective instincts, stating "We just want to rescue our precious friend" during operational crises.

Physically, she has dark hair (depicted variably as black or blue), red eyes, stands 168 cm tall, weighs 49 kg, and has body measurements of 86-57-84. Her blood type is O. She appears in other official media, including the game *Super Robot Wars X-Ω* and the manga series *THE iDOLM@STER XENOGLOSSIA* and *THE iDOLM@STER XENOGLOSSIA Iori Sunshine!+*.
