Tippy, formally named Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe, is an English Angora rabbit serving as the mascot of Rabbit House cafe. Her name derives from tea terminology: "Tippy" refers to the edges of tea leaves, "Golden" denotes a color, "Flowery" indicates a satisfying taste, and "Orange Pekoe" signifies the highest quality.
Though physically a fluffy female Angora rabbit, Tippy is inhabited by the soul and consciousness of Chino Kafū’s deceased grandfather. This unique condition allows Tippy to retain the grandfather’s memories, personality, and skills, limited only by the physical capabilities of a rabbit’s body.
The transfer resulted from a mysterious event linked to a spell Cocoa Hoto once cast on Chino’s grandfather in her youth, proclaiming he would be reborn as a rabbit in his next life.
