Description
Li Yong Fa originates from Lycan city in the B-DaWorld, the younger brother of Wen Yong Fa. Initially serving the Shadow Alliance under Ababa and Marda B alongside his brother, he participates in missions testing or undermining protagonists like Yamato Delgado, consistently clad in red attire marked by a notable hat and utilizing seal papers as his signature calling card. Li demonstrates tactical cunning and dedication in early engagements, challenging Yamato for Chrome Zephyr and attempting to capture Mie Delgado as leverage.
His loyalty becomes conflicted after witnessing Yamato's integrity and experiencing Mie's kindness. Hesitating to steal Cobalt Blade during a joint effort with Yamato against Hog bandits signals his internal struggle, culminating in his defiance of orders to destroy Terry McScotty's Wing Ninja—an act rejecting the Shadow Alliance's methods. Departing the organization, Li collaborates with Yamato's group against threats like the monster forms of News and Salz and Neo Shadow Alliance soldiers. He receives the upgraded B-Daman King Rekuso during a Lycan mission, later combining it with Wen's King Bakuso to form King Bakurekuso, enabling Wen's victory over Shegen.
Despite his alignment shift, Enjyu recruits Li to infiltrate the Neo Shadow Alliance as a double agent. To protect Wen, Li conceals his true motives, stages a confrontation, and defeats his brother in an offscreen B-DaBattle, publicly severing their bond to maintain cover. During his infiltration, Marda B brainwashes Li, granting him a third eye and erasing his memories to ensure compliance. As an antagonist under mind control, he battles Wen again but is defeated, breaking Marda B's influence and restoring his true self. Post-recovery, he joins the final coalition against Marda B alongside Yamato, Gray, Terry, Enjyu, and Wen.
