Derek Stephen Prince is an American voice actor with a career spanning over two decades, recognized for his extensive work in anime dubbing, animation, and video games. Born on February 5, 1969, in Inglewood, California, he graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theater. Throughout his career, he has also been credited under the pseudonyms David Umansky, Steven Prince, and Steve Prince.
Prince is perhaps most widely known for his numerous roles within the long-running Digimon franchise. He voiced Ken Ichijouji, the Digimon Emperor, as well as the Digimon Veemon and its various evolutions in Digimon Adventure 02. He also provided the voice for the fan-favorite character Impmon and his ultimate form Beelzemon in Digimon Tamers.
