Born on December 24th on Omoiyari Star within the Dream Star-Cloud, she embodies a blend of timidity and creativity. Her hobbies include drawing, writing poems, and cooking. Visually, she sports long pink hair and a simple white gown, always barefoot, while wielding a star-topped wand gifted by her father. This wand acts as both a travel compass and a snack-summoning tool when swirled in circles.

Sent to Earth by their parents to cultivate self-reliance and starlike radiance, Lala and Kiki embarked on their journey equipped with essential gifts: Kiki’s flight-enabling back star, Lala’s wand, and a shared puffy cloud that offers rest, cleaning, repairs, and shape-shifting. On Earth, Lala often worries when Kiki’s curiosity leads to peril, yet their bond remains unshaken, with swift reconciliations following disputes.

Lala appears across Sanrio media, including the 1994 fantasy OVA *Kiki to Lala no Habatake! Pegasus*. She features in *Tamagotchi*’s *m!x* and *Meets* versions as an adult resident of Twin Stars Land, retaining her wand and passing traits like her hair or wand to offspring. She also stars in the 2018 mobile puzzle game *Kiki & Lala’s Twinkle Puzzle*, integrating art from a 1970s picture book about the twins’ origins.
