Movie
Description
Hana Nono, also known as Cure Yell, is a middle school student who initially strives to appear mature and reliable, often adopting a big-sister-like demeanor. However, her energetic and occasionally clumsy nature leads to mistakes that reveal her more childish side, such as on her first day at a new school when she gave herself an uneven, messy haircut while trimming her bangs.

She was once bullied at her previous school after defending a friend named Eri, which resulted in her becoming a target and eventually transferring to L'Avenir Academy due to isolation. Her family consists of her father, Shintarou Nono, a department store manager; her supportive mother, Sumire Nono; a younger sister, Kotori Nono; and her maternal grandmother, Anno Tanpopo, who runs a sweets shop.

A pivotal moment occurs when Hana encounters a mysterious baby named Hugtan and a hamster-like fairy, Hariham Harry, who arrive from the future while being pursued by the Criasu Corporation. This organization seeks to steal Hugtan's Mirai Crystal to halt time and freeze everyone's future. When Hugtan is endangered, Hana's powerful desire to protect the baby causes a Mirai Crystal to emerge from her inner Tomorrow Power. Using this crystal with the PreHeart transformation device, she becomes Cure Yell, the Pretty Cure of High Spirits.

In her Cure Yell form, her hair grows longer and wavier, turning light pink and styled into two buns secured by red ribbons and daisies. She wears a pink and white cheerleader-inspired costume with pom-pom-like wristbands and a pleated skirt with translucent layers. Her role is to cheer everyone on with phrases like "Hooray hooray!" and "Mega shock!" Her primary battle attack is "Heart For You!"

Hana develops a profound bond with Hugtan, caring for and protecting her. Hugtan often calls Hana "mama," and it is eventually revealed that Hugtan is actually Hagumi Nono, Hana's daughter from a potential future. Hana also forms strong friendships and teams up with fellow Pretty Cures Saaya Yakushiji (Cure Ange), Homare Kagayaki (Cure Etoile), Emiru Aisaki (Cure Macherie), and Ruru Amour (Cure Amour). Ruru, initially an android spy for Criasu sent to observe the Cures, later defects and becomes a close ally.

A central figure connected to her future is George Kurai, president of Criasu Corporation. In an original, altered timeline, George was Hana's husband and Hugtan's father. In that timeline, Hana became a solo warrior known as the "Goddess of Freedom" but died battling the darkness of humanity. In his grief, George founded Criasu to stop time and prevent that future. The series creates a new timeline where Hana, supported by friends and family, avoids this fate.

In the film *Pretty Cure Super Stars!*, Hana teams up with the Pretty Cure teams from *KiraKira Pretty Cure a la Mode* and *Witchy PreCure!* to fight a monster named Usobakka. She also meets a childhood friend named Clover, to whom she had failed to keep a promise to meet again, and her apology helps resolve the film's conflict.

By the epilogue, set in 2030, Hana has achieved her dream of becoming a cool adult. She is the head of a boutique corporation and the mother of a young daughter, Hagumi, contrasting with the tragic fate of the original timeline and highlighting her growth from a sometimes-struggling student to a successful adult who helped save the future.
