Pekorin is a puppy-like fairy from the KiraKira☆Pretty Cure A La Mode series, known for ending sentences with "~peko". She has pale pink fur, blue eyes, and fluffy ears that shift color with her emotions: light blue for hunger, pink for happiness, yellow when feeling spoiled, green from fatigue, red when peevish, and dark blue with sadness. An apricot bib adorned with crossed cream-colored utensils completes her look. As Cure Pekorin, the "Pretty Cure of Hunger and Sparkles", she transforms into a donut-themed warrior with pink twin-tails, a cream-and-pink frilled dress, and icing-covered boots. Her transformation call is "Cure La Mode・Decoration!", wielding a Candy Rod to perform the "Cure Donut" attack, creating a restraining energy ring.

She senses and interacts with "Kirakiraru", the magical energy within sweets, and can fly. Her first encounter with protagonist Ichika Usami occurred while defending Kirakiraru from a thief, inspiring Ichika's initial Pretty Cure transformation. Pekorin often tries to fight enemies alone but is usually overwhelmed by her small size and limited combat experience. Her personality mixes fierce loyalty with gluttony, especially for donuts. Inherently kind-hearted, she also displays spoiled tendencies, demanding treats or tearfully reacting to perceived betrayals. She shares close bonds with Ichika (who rescued her), the elder fairy Chourou (as his apprentice), and Kirarin/Ciel (a fellow fairy and later Cure Parfait).

Key developments mark her journey: initially unable to fight directly, she gained temporary human transformation abilities in episode 38 to aid the Cures, sacrificing this power to counter a major threat. Later, in the final arc, she achieved her own Cure form after vowing to protect freshly baked donuts and her friends, enabling her to battle alongside the team. She crucially restored the Cures’ memories after they were drained of emotions. In the movie *Crisply! The Memory of Mille-feuille!*, Pekorin features in the short film *Petit ☆ Dream Stars! Let's・La・Cookin'? Showtime!*, baking cookies with other fairies; a mishap with misidentified dragon powder creates a living cookie dragon, subdued by Pekorin using Miracle Lights. Within the main film, she aids the Cures in Paris by deducing an evil whisk sabotaged pastry chefs, using her Miracle Light to repel threats.

The series epilogue shows Pekorin years later as a teenager, co-managing a sweets shop with Chourou and former antagonist Bibury. She possesses a talent for imitating cats and dogs.
