Description
Maina, a Houtua priestess, guards Mothra’s sacred egg alongside her twin sister Miana within a tribe descended from humans who endured Godzilla’s reign. Her sharp glares and guarded stance toward outsiders contrast her sister’s demeanor, though their matching tribal markings, blue hair, and green eyes reflect shared heritage. Clad in a blue top, dark red skirt, and sandals, she wields arrows laced with self-replicating Nanometal—a substance she distrusts as “poison”—to fend off threats like the Servum.

When United Earth forces clash with Godzilla, Maina interrogates survivors telepathically through Mothra’s egg, reluctantly allying with them against the titan. Her tactical acumen shines in battle, yet she cautions against humanity’s dependence on Nanometal and Mechagodzilla City, wary of its corrosive influence.

Initially distrustful of Haruo Sakaki, their relationship shifts when she discloses her role in saving him after Miana’s rejected romantic overture. Choosing Haruo, Maina forges a bond through “connecting life,” intertwining their destinies and conceiving their child. This union drives her to shield him from Metphies’ Ghidorah summoning, channeling Mothra’s power to shatter the psychic hold over Haruo.

Post-Ghidorah’s defeat, she marries Haruo, nurturing their child among the Houtua. Decades later, she witnesses his deification in a ceremonial rite, her journey reflecting a bridge between humanity’s fractured history and her tribe’s evolving legacy as stewards of a reclaimed world.
