Eve Wakamiya, a third-year student at Hanasakigawa Girls' High School, serves as the keyboardist for Pastel*Palettes. Born to a Japanese father and Finnish mother, she grew up in Finland before moving to Japan. This transition sparked her deep fascination with Japanese culture, specifically bushido, the samurai code of honor, which she actively studies and integrates into her daily life. Prior to joining the band, Eve worked as a model. Her tall stature makes her the tallest member of Pastel*Palettes. She possesses an earnest, friendly, and easygoing personality, consistently showing kindness. Her enthusiasm for Japanese culture sometimes leads to humorous misunderstandings, like mispronouncing words or misinterpreting idioms, yet she remains dedicated to learning. Eve's commitment to bushido profoundly shapes her actions and decisions. She trains daily in kendo, owns multiple wooden swords, and uses a sword icon for her messaging app. Her strong sense of righteousness and integrity means she dislikes lying and struggles to do so effectively, her voice cracking when untruthful. This principle was tested when she attempted to hide personal struggles to avoid worrying others, notably during an incident where she lied to impress her visiting Finnish friend Hanne. She resolved this by embracing honesty and bushido values. Beyond the band, Eve participates in school clubs for flower arrangement, kendo, and tea ceremony. She also works part-time as a waitress at her family's café, Hazawa Coffee. Her daily routine includes waking at 4:00 AM. She enjoys gingerbread cookies, dislikes pickled foods, and avoids horror stories due to her fear of them. Within Pastel*Palettes, Eve is close to all members: she views Aya as diligent and empathetic, Chisato as reliable and experienced, Hina as a joyful mood-maker, and Maya as a knowledgeable older sister figure. Her single-minded dedication occasionally causes confusion, but her unwavering support has helped the band overcome challenges multiple times. For instance, during a fan disagreement at a live concert, Eve mediated using bushido ideals to restore unity. Eve hosts the radio show "All Day✽Bushido," addressing listeners as "Bushi-stars." She has participated in cross-media collaborations, including the Zombieland Saga Revenge event themed after Yugiri as "Legendary Bushido!," and the Re:Zero collaboration mirroring Echidna. Her development highlights growth in balancing cultural ideals with interpersonal relationships, demonstrating how bushido guides her in supporting her band and friends while navigating life as a foreign-born student in Japan.
