Description
Saaya Yamabuki, a third-year student at Hanasakigawa Girls' High School, drums for Poppin'Party. She formed a close bond with Kasumi Toyama during their entrance ceremony, sparking a daily lunch tradition. Her family operates Yamabuki Bakery, where she actively assists while juggling school and band duties. As the eldest of three siblings—younger brother Jun and younger sister Sana—she once played in the middle school band CHiSPA but withdrew before a key performance. In the main storyline, this departure stemmed from worries over burdening others during her mother's health crisis; an alternate storyline cites her father's illness as the catalyst. Kasumi's unwavering encouragement and her mother's backing later rekindled Saaya's musical drive, making her Poppin'Party's final recruit.
Kind, empathetic, and diligent, Saaya embodies an "older sister" role in the band through her maturity and calm demeanor. She finds it hard to refuse friends, like when tutoring Hagumi Kitazawa.
