Description
Ushigome Rimi, a third-year student at Hanasakigawa Girls' High School, serves as the bassist for Poppin'Party, earning the affectionate nickname "Rimi-rin" from her bandmates. Primarily raised in the Kansai region, she sometimes slips into Kansai dialect when nervous or stumbling over words, a habit that embarrasses her. She plays a pink bass guitar inherited from her older sister Yuri, lead vocalist of Glitter*Green; witnessing Yuri's live performance as a child inspired Rimi to take up the instrument.

Shy and reserved, Rimi frequently struggles with self-comparison and wishes to become more confident and outspoken, though she demonstrates moments of strong determination. She deeply admires her sister Yuri and openly expresses this admiration. Beyond Poppin'Party, she maintains friendships with Misaki and Himari, sharing with Himari a strong fandom for Kaoru; both Rimi and Himari also attend the same cram school.

Her character development centers on overcoming stage fright. Kasumi’s optimistic self-introduction sparked Rimi’s interest during their high school entrance ceremony, but fear initially led her to decline joining the band. A pivotal moment occurred when Kasumi performed impromptu onstage at SPACE to stall for Glitter*Green’s delayed arrival. Inspired, Rimi found the confidence to join Kasumi and Arisa in performing, ultimately deciding to become Poppin'Party’s bassist.

Physically, Rimi stands 150 cm tall, making her Poppin'Party's shortest member – a trait causing insecurity and a desire to be taller. She has black hair, brown-red eyes, and a hairstyle featuring chin-length hair with looped side sections and straight-cut bangs. Early anime seasons depicted her in a floral-patterned pink dress with ballet shoes; the third season transitioned her outfit to a pink sweater, blouse, patterned skirt, frilled socks, and Mary Jane shoes.

Rimi intensely favors Yamabuki Bakery’s chocolate cornets, so much so that declining one causes concern among peers. She enjoys chocolate (excluding mint-chocolate), meat, and whipped cream. Her hobbies include playing video games and reading, particularly horror novels, movies, and games involving ghosts, zombies, or supernatural elements, though she dislikes haunted houses. Her family owns a chocolate fountain, and she collaborated with Yuri to write a song about chocolate cornets.

In alternative media like the April Fools' game *Girl's Blossom Project*, Rimi is portrayed as a classmate of Himari, bonding over watching Kaoru's rehearsals and sharing knowledge about bakery schedules, maintaining her timid characterization while emphasizing her Kaoru fandom.
