Masuki Sato, known as MASKING, is a third-year student at Shirayuki Private Academy and the drummer for RAISE A SUILEN. Her stage name fuses "Masuki" with the nickname "King." Inspired by her drummer father, she took up the instrument herself. She sports short, asymmetrical blonde hair and dark gold eyes. Her signature look features high-waisted wide-leg pants, a cropped black top, and a deep red sukajan jacket adorned with white stripes and Hanyo Usagi motifs, paired with black ballet flats—a sukeban-inspired style. At school, she wears the traditional blue sailor uniform with an ankle-length skirt. She stands 170 cm tall. Despite a sharp gaze and delinquent-like appearance, Masuki enjoys cute things and excels at baking cakes. She possesses a straightforward, enthusiastic personality and deeply values her friendships in RAISE A SUILEN, often playfully teasing bandmate Chiyu Tamade. Her interests include cooking, discussing food, and working part-time at "Ramen Ginga." She dislikes waking early and can fall asleep anywhere, even on floors. Her hobbies are reading shounen manga, following the shoujo series *Miracle Drum☆Snappy-chan*, and watching anime films. As a drummer, Masuki displays exceptional skill with an impulsive, aggressive style, earning her the "mad dog" moniker. She becomes intensely immersed during performances, frequently adding complex improvisations that unsettle her bandmates—a tendency that once prevented her from joining other bands. She greatly admires Maya Yamato, Pastel*Palettes' drummer, sometimes mimicking Maya's speech. Maya reciprocates this respect, calling Masuki "King." Paradoxically, while her stage persona is fierce, she conducts herself with refinement at school, where she is notably popular. Masuki holds a scooter license and enjoys riding. Her birthday is May 12, coinciding with RAISE A SUILEN's (then THE THIRD) performance as the opening act for Poppin'Party's 5th Live concert in 2018. She shares a professional history with Rei Wakana, having collaborated as support musicians before RAISE A SUILEN. Masuki also appears in the ensemble cast of the spin-off *BanG Dream!
