Natsume is a Japanese drummer and voice actress from Tokyo, born on July 20, 1986. Her career began in music; she started playing drums in high school and later attended the ESP College of Entertainment to further her skills. Before her voice acting debut, she gained extensive experience as a professional musician. She was a member of the all-female rock band Claddagh Ring from 2008 until its disbandment in December 2012 and joined the visual kei band SHAZNA upon their reunion in August 2017. As a freelance support drummer, she has performed with a wide variety of artists, including Arashi, Maki Otsuki, and Raychell.

Her entry into voice acting came through the BanG Dream! multimedia franchise. She was recruited by Bushiroad to be the drummer for the franchise's third real-life band, which started as THE THIRD (仮) and was officially named RAISE A SUILEN in 2018. In this project, she not only performs as the band's drummer but also provides the voice for its fictional counterpart, drummer Masuki Sato, who is also known by her stage name MASKING. This role marked her debut as a voice actress, a career path she had long aspired to pursue. She has consistently voiced the character of MASKING across the franchise's various anime adaptations, including the television series BanG Dream! 2nd Season and 3rd Season, as well as the short-form series BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico: Ohmori and BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico Fever!. Her work also extends to the franchise's animated concert films, such as BanG Dream! FILM LIVE 2nd Stage, and the feature film BanG Dream! Poppin'Dream!.

While her professional identity is deeply tied to her musicianship and her sole major voice acting role, her work within the BanG Dream! project represents a significant and ongoing achievement. She was affiliated with the agency Ace Crew Entertainment from April 2018 until the end of February 2023, after which she became a freelancer.
