Zende Neubauten is one of the Noise Sisters, a trio also called the Three Witch Sisters. She wears her long white hair typically in a ponytail and consistently conceals her face. Her attire includes gray pants, gloves, and thigh-high stockings.

As a Player, Zende pilots mechanized combat units known as Equipment to defend humanity against entities called the Earless. In battle, she and her sisters combine destruction with construction, emphasizing aesthetic precision.

Her primary relationships are with her sisters, Ein Neubauten and Stür Neubauten, with whom she operates as a cohesive unit. The trio collectively detected a green light they believed linked to the legendary Player Jimi Stonefree. This led them to confront Mu and Echo Rec, suspecting Mu's connection to Jimi. During this encounter, Echo recognized the sisters and requested their autograph, the first such request they had ever received. The sisters reacted with visible excitement and reciprocated by seeking Echo’s autograph. Despite this interaction, they captured Echo, intending to use him against Mu to awaken Jimi. Their confrontation ended in defeat when Bilin Valentine intervened to rescue Echo and Mu.

The Noise Sisters collectively reference the band "Einstürzende Neubauten."
