Description
Jimi Stonefree stands as a legendary Player pivotal to the historical Project Freedom Festival a decade before the main events. His actions culminated in a cataclysmic explosion during the operation, after which he vanished without a trace. This disappearance cemented his dual legacy: a hero credited with saving humanity and a figure profoundly missed by some, while others bestowed upon him the cryptic epithet "King of the Earless."

Physically, he cuts a tall, slender silhouette marked by flowing wavy white hair cascading to his lower back and striking blue eyes. Notable augmentations include an input jack embedded in his lower back and a guitar amp tube pendant hanging from his neck. His signature attire features a red cropped jacket with fringed sleeves layered over a cropped white shirt, blue pants accented by a yellow sash, and black-and-white boots. Before his journey, he appeared in a white dress shirt tucked into flared blue jeans with black shoes, his hair secured in a tie.

His history traces back to witnessing the Earless—shadowy entities shrouded in black mist with bat-like ears, described as humans who failed to become Players. This encounter ignited his quest to unravel their nature and humanity's connection to them. Traveling widely, he met Roz in Gnome settlement at "The Wall," where he embraced their vision of Earless coexistence. He later crossed paths with Denka in Paisley Park and Nir at Freak Scene Academy, leaving indelible marks on each. His unifying philosophy crystallized in teaching Denka that "love is all you need" to mend divisions.

As pilot of "Dual Showman"—the sturdiest and most formidable giant combat robot engineered to exterminate Earless—he spearheaded humanity's last stand in Londinium during Project Freedom. At the operation's climax, with victory imminent, he halted his assault, opened a portal, and disappeared through it. This abrupt betrayal triggered catastrophic failure, devastating Liverchester and branding him a rogue agent.

Relationships anchor his narrative: he is Janis Stonefree's brother and shared a profound bond with Denka, who harbored unrequited feelings and later preserved murals and pictures of Jimi. His camaraderie with Roz ran deep, and he fought alongside comrades Bilin and Kevin Valentine during Project Freedom, both witnessing his final explosion. A fleeting but pivotal moment locked his gaze with Echo Rec seconds before detonation—an instant that haunted Echo.

Jimi bears uncanny resemblance to the amnesiac Player Mu, sharing facial structure, input jack placement, and long white hair. While many speculated they were siblings due to identical core components, Mu's true identity as the King of the Earless later complicated this connection.

Since his disappearance, Jimi's legacy endures through rumors, memories, and relentless searches by figures like Echo and Mu. His ultimate fate and motivations during Project Freedom remain shrouded in enigma, perpetuating his elusive mystique.
