Description
Sherry Cromwell serves as the primary decoder for Necessarius, the Anglican Church's 0th Parish. Her expertise in emblem restoration and interpretation, recognized at the Royal Academy of Arts, makes her services frequently sought by institutions like the British Museum and St. George's Cathedral.

Physically, she possesses dark skin and unkempt blonde hair forming a lion's mane from behind. Her typical attire is a tattered black Gothic Lolita dress adorned with yellowish lace, contributing to a wild, slovenly look. Privately, such as in the Anglican Church Women's Dormitory, she often wears only a light double negligee. Her voice blends masculine and feminine tones, described as heavy and damaged, resembling a smoker's vocal cords.

Her personality is marked by trauma and internal conflict. She describes herself as brimming with "as many convictions as stars," reflecting contradictory motivations. Deeply vindictive towards both the magic and science factions, she simultaneously expresses reluctance to harm others. She is brusque in interactions, assigning nicknames like "Far East girl" to Kaori Kanzaki or "Nun 1" and "Nun 2" to colleagues, yet maintains a genuine friendship with Orsola Aquinas. Laziness and apathy define her daily habits; she neglects routine tasks but dedicates intense focus to sculpting, even renting a separate dorm room solely for this purpose.

Her backstory centers on a failed experiment 20 years prior. As a child member of Necessarius, she participated in a covert project creating magician-esper hybrids. She befriended an Academy City esper, Ellis Warrior, and taught him magic. However, the incompatibility between magic and AIM fields caused Ellis severe injuries. When the Knights of England intervened to terminate the project—officially to prevent magic-science collaboration—Ellis sacrificed himself to shield her. Witnessing his death traumatized her, leaving her embittered towards both factions. She later dedicated her magic name, "Intimus115" ("Everything I offer to my lost friend"), and her golem to Ellis's memory, sculpting statues of him as an outlet for grief.

Her magical abilities stem from Kabbalah, adapted with Anglican elements and English linguistics. Her signature technique summons "Golem Ellis," a 4-meter construct composed of local materials like concrete or metal. The golem regenerates by assimilating surrounding matter every three seconds, though this fails if harmful materials are introduced. A core within serves as a control point; its destruction collapses the golem. Sherry can self-destruct it with a touch and perceives through its senses. She manipulates it via mental commands or pastel chalk, though sustained mental control strains her. The golem's design incorporates archangelic symbolism but remains imperfect, as humans cannot replicate true angels. Secondary abilities include:
* Creating mud eyeballs for surveillance and communication.
* Triggering structural collapses by drawing additional golem circles.
* Using levitation spells to stabilize herself during combat.
* Employing automatic writing to uncover hidden information, such as identifying Hyouka Kazakiri as her target.

During the Kazakiri Hyouka incident, she invaded Academy City under Aleister Crowley's manipulation. Unaware of Crowley's involvement, she sought to provoke war between magic and science factions to avenge Ellis and prevent similar tragedies. She injured multiple individuals, battled Shirai Kuroko and Misaka Mikoto, and deployed Golem Ellis against Anti-Skill forces. Upon encountering Hyouka, she equated her regenerative abilities to Ellis's nature, labeling both as "monsters." Her confrontation culminated with Touma Kamijou and Anti-Skill members, whom she initially defeated but who later regrouped to protect Hyouka. Defeated by Touma's Imagine Breaker, she subsequently transitioned from antagonist to ally, aiding him in later conflicts.
