Description
Kuroh Yatogami is a serious, composed young man standing 178 cm tall, with black hair typically tied in a ponytail and light blue eyes. His standard attire features a long black jacket with gold trimmings worn open over a white shirt with an undone blue necktie, black pants, and white shoes. He carries the katana Kotowari at his waist.
Born on January 5, 1994, Kuroh faced profound tragedy early on. At age five, his entire family died in a truck collision during an autumn trip; he survived after extensive hospitalization. Subsequent adoptions brought further loss: his aunt and uncle perished in a house fire, and a distant relative exploited his inheritance before abandoning him. Near death in the mountains, Kuroh was found and adopted by Ichigen Miwa, the Colorless King, who trained him as a vassal and clansman. Kuroh's aura abilities first manifested when he saved a village child from a cliff fall. Following Miwa's death from illness, Kuroh inherited a mission: to find Miwa's successor and eliminate them if deemed evil.

This decision forged a bond with Yashiro and Neko, a Strain with memory-manipulation powers, forming a found family dynamic. In the film *Missing Kings*, Kuroh and Neko searched for the missing Yashiro, allied with Anna Kushina of HOMRA, and defended them against the Green Clan. After the destruction of the Dresden Slate ended Yashiro's immortality, Kuroh remained with the Silver Clan. He later became a student at Ashinaka High School, continuing his life alongside Yashiro and Neko.
