Description
Perman No. 2, also known as Booby, is a chimpanzee who holds the official rank of Perman No. 2 within the team of superheroes headed by Perman No. 1, the schoolboy Mitsuo Suwa. Unlike the other Perman members, he is not human; he is a highly intelligent chimpanzee who was given the standard Perman equipment and accepted as a full member of the team. Because he cannot speak human language, he communicates through gestures, facial expressions, and the use of objects, and he is able to make himself understood clearly despite having no spoken words. He serves as the favorite sidekick of Perman No. 1 and is a loyal, dependable companion in the group's superhero work.
In the crossover adventure, Perman No. 2 appears as a supporting member of the Perman group that joins forces with the ninja Hattori and his companions. The combined heroes become involved when they come to the aid of the young psychic girl Yuri, who is being pursued by the masked psychic villain Psychoman and his allies. When the Perman team first confronts Psychoman, their superhuman strength and flying ability prove ineffective against his psychic powers, and the exchange is only resolved with help from the ninja side.
