TV-Series
Description
Ruri Tsuyikono is a 13-year-old first-year at a girls' combined junior-senior high school. She possesses fair skin, distinctive pink eyes, and long brown hair featuring blunt bangs that cover her eyebrows, accented by a pink hair ornament. Her usual outfit is a green dress with five bows per sleeve, blue leggings, and brown shoes. Her school uniform includes a white collared shirt, green bowtie, beige buttoned jacket, light blue pleated miniskirt, dark green knee-high socks, and brown loafers.

She curates the popular social media account "Lirurun," focused on paranormal phenomena, attracting significant followership. Naturally sociable, she maintains numerous friendships and actively seeks intriguing or unusual experiences aligned with her interests. Despite her outgoing nature and proficiency in activities like piano-playing—which her partner Digimon, Angoramon, particularly enjoys—she experiences ennui stemming from difficulty finding deeply satisfying pursuits.

Minor childhood incidents mark her early background: at age 6 years and 11 months, she broke a promise to her mother by eating three sweets instead of one; at age 9 years and 3 months, she dirtied a library book and returned it unreported. Her family consists of her parents, a grandmother named Kazuko, and a relative named Sakura. Folklore-inspired etymologies suggest her name "Tsukiyono" (moonlit night field) connects to lunar symbolism, while "Ruri" (lapis lazuli) links to precious stones, with potential thematic ties to Angoramon's rabbit-like design.

Throughout the series, Ruri investigates paranormal events with friends Mika Kashiwagi and Aoi Udagawa. Her Lirurun posts frequently propel plot developments, motivating Kotaro Nomura to investigate the "Sewn-lip Man" and alerting Hiro Amanokawa to museum mummy rumors. She encounters her partner Angoramon during an investigation at the New National Ueno General Museum, where they witness Mummymon's activities.

Key experiences involve temporarily losing the ability to recognize Gammamon due to Betsumon's interference, resolved after Betsumon's defeat. In one incident, while modeling for a wedding dress photoshoot, she is abducted by Chamblemon, who uses brides' emotions to cultivate mushrooms. Weakened by fungal growths on her body, she is rescued by Thetismon and later participates in the photoshoot alongside Jellymon. She also occasionally partners with other Digimon, such as temporarily teaming with TeslaJellymon in a separate incident.

Her character development reflects increasing bravery and curiosity, consistently engaging with supernatural threats alongside Hiro and Kiyoshiro. Her core narrative centers on her role in "Digimon Ghost Game."
