Description
Riko Izayoi, also known as Liko Izayoi, is a thirteen-year-old student from the Magic World attending Magic School. Despite strong academic results, she wrestles with insecurities about her magical abilities, often approaching challenges through precise calculations. Her serious and sometimes anxious demeanor gradually lightens after partnering with Mirai Asahina and sharing the responsibility of raising the fairy Ha-chan.

She possesses dark magenta eyes and long, straightened dark purple hair, typically styled in a partial ponytail secured by a light pink pom-pom and featuring short bangs. Her casual outfit consists of a light blue top beneath an indigo jumper with a red sash, black Mary-Jane shoes, and indigo tube socks, though she notably changes attire seasonally. She does not wear this standard casual outfit during the events of *Eiga Precure All Stars: Minna de Utau♪ Kiseki no Mahou!*.

Transforming into Cure Magical alters her appearance significantly: her hair brightens and dramatically lengthens to her waist, styled in a fanned ponytail held by a red bow and topped with a small black witch hat decorated with pearls, stars, and a pink pom-pom. Her transformation attire includes gold-pearl earrings, a sleeveless purple dress featuring a high collar and pink bows, a light purple underskirt, and opera-length purple gloves accented by gold bracelets. Matching purple boots with purple toe tips and red anklets complete the look. She announces herself in battle with the phrase "Futari no mahō! Kyua Majikaru!" (Our Magic! Cure Magical!). Using the power of Linkle Stones, she accesses distinct elemental forms:
- **Ruby Style**: Manifests twin-tails tied with deep red ribbons, a red-and-black dress with off-shoulder sleeves, and fire-based magic.
- **Sapphire Style**: Features a high ponytail woven with a light blue ribbon, a dark blue crop top, a gradient skirt, water-based magic, and a light blue scarf.
- **Topaz Style**: Includes braided hair rings, a yellow dress resembling caramel sauce, and electricity-based magic.

Her partnership with Cure Miracle forms her core narrative. They transform jointly using "Miracle・Magical・Jewelryle!" and execute combined attacks like Diamond Eternal. Separated from Cure Miracle during the conflict against the witch Solcière and her servant Trauuma in the human world, she faces moments of despair but finds resilience with encouragement from fellow Pretty Cures. This separation occurs as the villains target the "tears of the 44 Pretty Cures" for catastrophic magic, necessitating the unified power of all Cures to protect the world.

Her significant relationships extend beyond Mirai. She shares a supportive bond with Cure Felice (Kotoha Hanami/Ha-chan), whom she helped raise and later reunites with post-battle. She deeply admires her older sister Liz, aspiring to become a respected witch like her, and receives the Linkle Stone Diamond from Liz. Her journey evolves from Magic School student to Magic World teacher by age nineteen, culminating in later reunions with Mirai and Kotoha.

Notable traits include her signature catchphrase "All according to my calculations" and a recurring gag where she denies accidental falls from heights. In the All Stars film, her musical connection proves pivotal: singing alongside Cure Miracle triggers Solcière's memory of a lullaby taught by her master. This lullaby becomes the "ultimate spell," healing injuries and empowering all 44 Pretty Cures to defeat Trauuma, underscoring the theme that song itself embodies magic.
