Description
Mirai Asahina is a thirteen-year-old girl on the verge of entering junior high school at the start of her story. She lives in the human world with her father Daikichi, her mother Kyoko, and her grandmother Kanoko. Her most treasured possession is a stuffed bear named Mofurun, a gift from her grandmother that she has kept since childhood. Mirai's ordinary life changes dramatically when she encounters a young witch named Riko Izayoi, who has fallen from the sky while flying on a broom. Through this meeting, Mirai discovers the existence of the Magic World and is chosen to become a legendary magical warrior, transforming into Cure Miracle alongside Riko as Cure Magical.

Mirai's personality is defined by her boundless energy, curiosity, and infectious optimism. She approaches every situation with excitement and a sense of wonder, often calling things fascinating or thrilling. She is exceptionally friendly and open-hearted, making new friends with ease and showing genuine kindness to everyone she meets. Even in difficult or dangerous moments, she looks on the bright side and refuses to give up, drawing strength from her belief in miracles. She is also loyal and protective, especially toward Riko and Mofurun, and will go out of her way to help anyone in need. Despite her playful nature, she is intelligent and studies diligently at the magic school she attends in the Magic World.

Her primary motivation is to learn magic and grow as a witch, but deeper than that is her desire to gain Riko's admiration and to stand by her friends as a reliable partner. She is driven by a sense of adventure and a wish to protect the people and worlds she loves.

In the movie Eiga Precure Dream Stars!, Mirai joins with other Precure teams from different series to face a new threat that endangers multiple worlds. Her role is that of a key fighter and an inspirational presence, using her powers alongside her allies to overcome the villain. The film highlights her courage and her ability to unite others through her positive spirit.

Her most important relationship is with Riko Izayoi. The two start as strangers but quickly become inseparable best friends and magical partners, relying on each other both in battle and in daily life. Mirai's optimism gradually helps Riko become more open and sociable, while Riko's knowledge and composure balance Mirai's impulsiveness. Their bond is central to Mirai's growth. Mofurun, her stuffed bear, is not only a comfort item but also a crucial component of her transformation, as the Linkle Stone embedded in Mofurun allows her to become Cure Miracle. Later, Mirai also forms a close family-like bond with Ha-chan, a mysterious baby who joins their household.

Over the course of her journey, Mirai matures from a carefree girl into a more responsible and capable warrior, though she never loses her core optimism. She learns to handle serious situations with determination and becomes more thoughtful about the consequences of her actions, all while maintaining her joyful approach to life.

As Cure Miracle, Mirai wields magic centered on light and life, symbolizing hope and positivity. She transforms using a magic wand born from the Tree of Staff, which is topped with a heart-shaped jewel. Her power is activated through the Linkle Stones, which grant her a variety of attacks such as Diamond Eternal, Ruby Passionale, Sapphire Smartish, and Topaz Esperanza. She is also able to combine forces with Cure Magical to perform the powerful team attack Extreme Rainbow. Cure Miracle's abilities reflect her bright personality and her role as a bringer of miracles, channeling the energy of friendship into tangible force. In the Dream Stars! movie, she fights alongside Precure from other generations, demonstrating her skills in coordinated combat and her willingness to protect others at any cost.
