Description
Vita serves as the "Knight of the Iron Hammer" within the Wolkenritter, knights created by the sentient Book of Darkness. The Book also designates her the "Crimson Iron Rider." She possesses a distinctive childlike appearance, resembling an eight-year-old with fiery red hair in twin braids and blue eyes, a form maintained across all media despite her centuries of service guarding the Book. This includes later appearances where she is officially 24 but retains her small stature.
Driven by fierce loyalty to her mistress, Hayate Yagami, Vita seeks to fill the Book of Darkness in *A's* to protect Hayate from its life-draining curse. She targets powerful mages like Nanoha Takamachi, overpowering her in their first encounter using cartridge-augmented attacks from her weapon, Graf Eisen, and severely damaging Nanoha's device, Raising Heart.
