Description
Himiko Shinobibe, the 7-year-old 13th successor of the Shinobibe ninja clan, dedicates her life to aiding Soukaizan’s prophesied savior. Bursting with boundless energy and fearlessness, she embarks on Wataru’s quest from the tower’s first floor as a core teammate. Her vibrant turquoise hair, secured by a pink ribbon, complements a dark pink ninja garb adorned with golden dragon-scale pauldrons and armbands. A perpetual grin lights her face, eyes often playfully shut.

Hyperactive yet innocent, she peppers conversations with spirited catchphrases like “Banzai!” in early adventures, later shifting to earnest cheers for allies. Her prodigious talent defies convention: bending logic via whimsical ninjutsu, she morphs into Ryujinmaru’s dragon mid-battle, converses with animals, and chants “Himikomikomiko Himikomiko!” to summon items from her Bag of Holding—a trove holding tools, weapons, and crossover trinkets.

Beneath her cheer lies vulnerability. She weeps openly after Toraoh’s death and rages when allies are endangered. *Wataru 2*’s Hidden Purpose Test forces her to confront isolation, guided by her future self to embrace familial bonds over fleeting thrills. This cements her belief in lasting happiness through connections.

As a moral compass, she stabilizes Toraoh as his emotional crutch and softens Kurama’s edges with humor and wisdom. Antagonists meet her childlike view of strife as play—she dubs foes “friends” and disarms hostility with nonviolent tactics.

Her lineage spans centuries: grandfather Ojiji Shinobibe mentored Genryusai, her father, a paper-ninjutsu master transformed first into a monkey, then a dog. Initially piloting the mech Genjinmaru, Genryusai cedes control to Himiko in later series. *Wataru 2*’s expressive animation amplifies her dynamism, reflecting narrative growth.

Beyond combat, *Episode 17* sees her mistaken for Princess PriPri, thrust into a diplomatic kidnapping crisis. Across OVAs and spin-offs, she juggles clan leadership with unwavering loyalty to companions, adapting seamlessly to every mission’s demand.
