TV-Series
Description
Hiroomi Nase belongs to the prestigious Nase family of Spirit World Warriors. He possesses black hair in a bowl cut, green eyes, and stands 178 cm tall. Born on July 21 (Cancer, blood type B), his supernatural abilities render him extremely sensitive to cold, necessitating constant wear of a scarf or muffler for warmth. This scarf doubles as an offensive weapon capable of disintegrating youmu on contact.
Three years prior to the main events, Hiroomi was tasked by his older sister Izumi with eliminating the half-youmu Akihito Kanbari. During this mission, Akihito's youmu side emerged following severe injury by Miroku Fujima, resulting in a rampage that nearly killed Hiroomi and inflicted severe back scars. This incident established a complex history between them, though they later forged a close friendship. Hiroomi affectionately calls Akihito "Akkey," frequently teasing him and placing his hands under Akihito's armpits to warm them.
Hiroomi shares a strong bond with his younger sister Mitsuki. He is fiercely protective, exhibiting a sister complex that causes blushes or nosebleeds when she calls him "Onii-chan." His ringtone features Mitsuki saying, "Onii-chan, I love you." Despite frequent bickering, they reconcile quickly, and he consistently shields her from danger. His relationship with Izumi began distantly, rooted in respect, but he later renounced her methods upon discovering her involvement with parasitic youmu. After Izumi's disappearance, Hiroomi assumed leadership of the Nase household. In this role, he adopted a more serious demeanor, replaced his school uniform with a black trench coat, and demonstrates considerably enhanced barrier skills. Their reconciliation occurred during a confrontation where Hiroomi expressed regret for not supporting her earlier.
As a Spirit World Warrior, Hiroomi specializes in creating Glaciate Barriers—defensive cages that trap youmu. He can multitask, maintaining barriers while performing other actions, though his focus may waver if Mitsuki voices concern during combat. Over time, he developed a protective stance towards Mirai Kuriyama, viewing her as a younger sister figure due to her struggles.
Hiroomi evolved from a laid-back high school student with a sister complex to a responsible clan leader burdened by duties. He balances paperwork and leadership while retaining his protective instincts for those close to him, reconciling familial conflicts and honing his combat skills to safeguard his loved ones.
