Description
Satoshi's Pikachu was the first Pokémon obtained by the trainer Satoshi. Their initial meeting was difficult, as Pikachu displayed a volatile and feisty personality, refusing to obey commands or stay inside a Poké Ball.
Their relationship changed during an attack by a wild Spearow. When Satoshi attempted to protect it, Pikachu unleashed a massive Thunderbolt to scare the predators away. This act of mutual protection forged a strong bond between them.
After this event, the Legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh flew overhead and dropped a Rainbow Wing. The feather became a significant item for the pair, and they promised to find Ho-Oh together.
Throughout their journey to find Ho-Oh, Pikachu traveled outside its Poké Ball, usually perched on Satoshi's shoulder or head. They encountered other Legendary Pokémon, including Entei and Suicune, which guided them toward their goal.
A key development was the rescue of an abandoned Charmander, which had been left in the rain by its former trainer, Cross. Satoshi and his companions nursed it back to health, and it chose to join their group. It later evolved into Charmeleon and then into Charizard during a confrontation with Cross.
The group faced a significant challenge from the Mythical Pokémon Marshadow, which placed Satoshi in a sleep-like state and created an illusion of a world without Pokémon. Satoshi broke free by remembering his partner, Pikachu.
The climax occurred at Rainbow Rock on Mount Tensei. Cross, seeking to claim Ho-Oh, placed the Rainbow Wing on the crystal, but his negative intentions caused it to turn dark. This corruption triggered Marshadow to turn local Pokémon aggressive, and they attacked Satoshi and his friends. During the conflict, Satoshi was severely injured and momentarily faded away.
Witnessing this, a heartbroken Pikachu unleashed an immensely powerful Thunderbolt that freed the other Pokémon from Marshadow's influence. Satoshi then returned, placed the newly formed Rainbow Wing on the crystal, and summoned Ho-Oh. Ho-Oh healed everyone present, and Satoshi challenged it to a battle with Pikachu.
