TV-Series
Description
Nero Yuzurizaki serves in the detective unit Milky Holmes. Trained at Holmes Detective Academy by Opera Kobayashi, she became a detective focused on stopping criminals who misuse supernatural abilities known as Toys. Originating from Britain, she operates in Yokohama.

Her personality is tomboyish and rough, often using the masculine pronoun "boku" and displaying selfish tendencies like talking down to others while prioritizing personal desires. She possesses a hefty appetite, frequently consuming large amounts of food that fuels her energetic lifestyle. Despite this, she shows underlying loyalty by looking out for her Milky Holmes teammates and employs underhanded tactics, a trait useful after the unit loses their Toys.

Nero's primary Toy ability allows manipulation of machines. Initially controlling devices via a small metal piece, its full scope includes disassembling machines and reconstructing, enhancing, or radically transforming them using surrounding materials. This expanded into broader technology manipulation, controlling electronic devices, mechanical constructs, and computer interfaces. She lost this Toy during a confrontation with the phantom thieves, the Gentlemen Thieves Empire. This loss stripped Nero and her teammates of their affluent lifestyle, forcing them to relocate to an attic.

Her development involves adapting to life without her Toy. In "Tantei Opera Milky Holmes: Act 2," she engages in activities like farming with teammates to sustain themselves, highlighting her persistence in regaining her abilities while navigating reduced circumstances. Her interpersonal dynamics include a noted romantic interest in Hercule Barton.

In spin-offs like the "Alternative" OVAs, she assists Opera Kobayashi and Lily Adler against the Thieves' Empire in London. Later series like "Tantei Kageki Milky Holmes TD" involve her in cases such as aiding idol Marine Amagi, with her role remaining part of the ensemble. Across all appearances, her detective archetype showcases skill in gathering information and drawing logical conclusions.
