Description
André Maxim serves as a professional assassin for antagonist Morgana in *Lupin III: The Last Job*. A psychotic killer devoid of mercy, he exhibits escalating bloodlust after shedding all traces of former goodness. His signature weapon is a modified yo-yo—a high-velocity combat disc that embeds in targets upon impact. Concealed throwing knives extend its lethal range, complicating evasion attempts. André dons body armor impervious to conventional firearms like Daisuke Jigen’s magnum, which partially deflects even Goemon’s Zantetsuken sword.

Muscular with blonde hair and black eyes, André shares an unresolved history with Jigen. Jigen recalls him as once "cuter" and less unhinged, suggesting a descent into violent instability. André nurses a grudge against Jigen, demanding a "fond farewell" during their elaborate duels. In one clash, Jigen affixes a jet pack to André’s yo-yo, hurling him off Morgana’s island base. His survival remains undetermined.

Originating in the *Lupin III M* manga without detailed backstory, André Maxim has no connection to an identically named nobleman from *Part 2 Episode 101* of the anime—a French Revolution figure cursed into stone. Maxim’s documented appearances are confined to *The Last Job* and his manga debut.

As Morgana’s secondary enforcer, he hunts Jigen, Lupin, and ninja Asuka Kagurazaka. His relentless combat persistence sees him return after explosions, falls, and defeats. Skilled in disguise, he notably impersonates a ninja to ambush Asuka.
