TV Special
Description
Shinku Izumi, a 13-year-old half-Japanese, half-British student from Cornwall, sports indigo eyes, bright blonde hair, and fair skin. His athletic build and acrobatic agility reflect years in competitive Iron Athletics, where he faces his cousin Nanami Takatsuki, a recurring rival who frequently outmatches him. After a routine life at Kinokawa International School in Japan, his world shifts when Princess Millhiore Firianno Biscotti summons him to Flonyard, a mystical realm where he becomes the Biscotti Republic’s champion.

Granted the sacred weapon Palladion, Shinku competes in sport-inspired, non-lethal battles to settle national disputes. Though stranded in Flonyard, he grows into his role, forging a mutual romantic connection with Millhiore that peaks in a heartfelt confession before his departure. His childhood friend Rebecca Anderson grows closer to him, though his obliviousness masks her romantic intentions.

Repeated summons thrust him into escalating trials, including repelling demonic forces in the Dragon Forest alongside Nanami and Rebecca—now rival nation heroes. While retaining his cheerful demeanor, blunt honesty, and competitive drive, he gradually recognizes romantic overtures from allies like Eclair Martinozzi, signaling subtle maturation.

Later adventures see him coordinating with allied factions to protect Flonyard, pursuing personal ambitions to surpass Nanami, and delaying romantic pursuits until achieving his goals. Missions such as thwarting the Dragon Forest crisis and traversing the realm’s enigmatic zones highlight his strategic adaptability and emerging leadership, though his journey maintains a buoyant, adventure-focused spirit.

The *Limone Resort - Panorama Spa* special episode places him in a playful, non-canon scenario, reflecting the series’ preference for episodic, low-stakes storytelling without advancing his core narrative.
