Movie
Description
Aira Harune begins as the protagonist of *Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream*, a fashion-enthusiastic yet clumsy middle school student unfamiliar with Prism Shows. Her journey launches when she accidentally executes a Prism Jump during an impromptu debut alongside Rizumu Amamiya, unveiling innate talent despite zero training. This event propels her into the idol unit MARs with Rizumu and her idol, Mion Takamine. Aira evolves from an uncoordinated novice into a resolute performer, mastering advanced techniques such as the "Fresh Fruits Basket" and "Miss Fairy Girl" jumps. Her perseverance culminates in winning the Prism Queen title by achieving the legendary "Aurora Rising Dream".

In the sequel, *Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future*, Aira confronts new challenges as Prism Queen. Her personal life grows complicated by unresolved romantic feelings for designer Shou and a rivalry with designer Yun-su. This emotional turmoil renders her vulnerable to manipulation by the antagonistic Don Bonby, who brainwashes her using a Symphonia Series stone. Under this influence, she announces MARs' defection to Symphonia Company and performs the "Road to Symphonia" Prism Act. PURETTY's intervention and Shou's emotional appeal break the brainwashing, leading to her recovery. The series concludes with her relocating to New York with Shou to pursue fashion design, solidifying their romantic relationship and career partnership.

Within the *Kiratto Pri☆Chan* universe, a parallel iteration named Aira Nanahoshi appears as a supporting character. Now a designer instead of an active idol, she co-creates the brand Sweet Honey and belongs to Designers Seven (later expanded to Designers Thirteen). She retains her original counterpart's red hair, red-orange eyes, and affinity for pink-and-black fashion. Her personality remains friendly and mentor-like, particularly toward Anju Shiratori, whom she guided since childhood after meeting at Kirajuku Fureai Park. Their bond is central to Anju's idol development, with Aira encouraging her participation in events like the Designers Full Cup. Distinctive pink glitter effects accompany her movements. She debuted as an idol in a duet with Anju, performing an original song—marking the first such duet for parallel protagonists in the series. She also demonstrates English-speaking ability in Episode 44.

Thematically, her name "Nanahoshi" (七星) translates to "seven stars," referencing her designer group and the seven prism elements. "Aira" (あいら), written in hiragana, potentially derives from "ai rashī" (lovely) or serves as a pun on "I love you" (ai rabu yū), aligning with her "lovely-type" idol classification. She shares a birthday (September 3) and voice actor with her original counterpart but exists as a distinct entity within *Kiratto Pri☆Chan*.

For the film *PriPara & Kiratto Pri☆Chan Movie: Sparkling Memorial Live*, Aira Harune is listed among the characters, though no confirmed role or development details exist in available sources.
