Description
Megumi Aino, who transforms into Cure Lovely, is a second-year student at Pikarigaoka Middle School. She became a Precure by a twist of fate when the Crystal of Love accidentally struck her and responded to the kindness in her heart. Her mother has a weak constitution, and Megumi’s lifelong dedication to helping her is the root of her strong desire to support everyone around her. She is a lively and energetic girl, deeply outgoing and optimistic, and she cannot stand by when someone is sad or in trouble. She is also impulsive and sometimes acts without thinking, but her sincerity and warmth often carry her through. Megumi loves fashion but has no sense of it, and her academic performance is low, yet she possesses a natural ability to make friends and sense when others are hurting.
In the film Eiga Precure All Stars New Stage 3: Eien no Tomodachi, Megumi and her partner Hime Shirayuki, who is Cure Princess, are the first to encounter a mysterious incident where children across the city fall into endless sleep and are trapped in a dream world. Because Megumi and Hime are new Precure and are not yet caught in the trap, they take the lead in investigating alongside the fairies EnEn and Gureru. They infiltrate the dream world to rescue the other Precure and the sleeping children. Along the way, they meet the dream‑eating fairy Yumeta, whose mother Maamu has captured the other heroes inside their own dreams to keep Yumeta from being alone. Megumi’s cheerful and persistent nature allows her to see past Yumeta’s fear and loneliness. She refuses to give up, encourages Yumeta to believe in true friendship, and helps him stand up to his mother’s misguided protection. Together with Hime and later the rest of the Precure team, she confronts the nightmare beasts and ultimately defeats the threat, freeing everyone.
